New Mexico's tech scene is thriving and we're bringing it all together in an expanded way.
New Mexico Tech Week (NMTW for short) is a first-of-its-kind, statewide celebration of technology, innovation, and community. From grassroots meetups to the flagship conference, this is a full week of connection, learning, and building the future of tech in the Land of Enchantment.
New Mexico Tech Week is powered by the community. In our first year, organizations closely tied to our mission will host their own events during the week in various venues across the state: workshops, happy hours, panels, demos, and more.
New Mexico has builders, founders, engineers, researchers, and dreamers scattered across organizations, industries, and communities that rarely get a chance to share the same room.
NMTW changes that. One week to break down silos. One week to spark collaborations that don't happen on Slack. One week to remind the world that New Mexico is a serious tech state.
This is year one. Be part of it from the start.
Now in its third year, TechFest 2026 is a free, two-day conference within NMTW unifying New Mexico's tech organizations.
TechFest is an inclusive tech event built by the NM Tech Talks collaborative, making it the flagship event to support a community-driven approach for NM Tech Week.
For our first year of NMTW, we are accepting applications to speak upfront and center on the TechFest Community Stage. Submit your proposal for a talk, panel, or demonstration at the event.
Anyone can apply to speak on this stage, and applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis by a community of tech industry leaders.
